It's More Fun Here in Iligan

Can't Stop Visiting C Park

I know a place that is not quite known to some.  A place as wonderful like any other tourists spots in the Philippines. It is a place rarely visited by tourists and its beautiful spots are not yet been discovered by some. Iligan City, known as the “City of Majestic Waterfalls”, is filled with much scenic spots.

One of the most famous spots in Iligan City is the Maria Cristina Falls, Tinago Falls, Mimbalut Falls, Mt. Agad-Agad, Taytay Spring Pool and many more. But there is one place in Iligan City that I really love to visit and others might not know this place. Person like me who loves to be in a silent and an eco-friendly place would likely visit this place. This place is called Centennial Park which is located in Barangay Dalipuga in Iligan City. Even though my house is not that distant to this place, I never stopped visiting this park.

This park is known for some especially to couples, friends and families because it is a comfortable and relaxing place. You can breath in fresh air, you can have a picnic with family and friends, and you can even go on swimming. But the best thing about this place is that you can witness the beautiful sunrise and sunset when you are here. You should not miss the magnificent view of the sunrise and sunset. Also, one reason why I loved visiting in this place is that I used to hang out with my friends and even play volleyball and frisbee since the park has a wide area suitable for any leisure activities.

In this place also, you can see a mini monument of our national hero, Jose Rizal, and a Philippine flag was also built at the center of the park. The place was also surrounded my beautiful plants and strong trees. This place is truly a scenic spot and it is not a waste of time visiting this place. Why not try visiting this place to those who haven’t gone here so that you will experience what I and others have also experienced.

If I were to describe this place, I would truly say that this place is really beautiful. The best thing about this park is that there are no benches at all. There’s nothing to worry about though because you will have to sit and relax in the ground with well trimmed grass. Unique isn't it? The place is not messy so you really have the freedom to do what you wanted to do there. Also, the best thing about the place is that it is has a mini monument of our national hero, Jose Rizal and it has a flagpole built at the center of the park. It is also surrounded my beautiful plants and strong trees. The place is really good for taking pictures because of its grandeur. In addition, there are stores across the road which even sells “lomi” and other foods that you might forget to bring when going in here and there are also videoke stands if you love singing when you have any other things to do.

Why not try visiting this place? But wherever you are in Iligan City, you will definitely experience such a great pleasure and you will truly feel the true spirit of hospitality among the Iliganons. It’s more fun in Iligan! Mabuhay Iligan!

LOVE - It Makes You Crazy (Crazy Little Thing Called Love)

Teenagers, like me, love to watch movies especially romantic ones due to the fact that teens can easily relate our real life experiences portrayed in almost all movies like these. We can easily consider the similarities of the characters’ experiences to that of us. I cannot deny the fact that I love romantic movies more than the comedy, horror, or action ones. I love these kinds of movies simply because I am a teenager now and that I will experience one way or another the same experiences the characters of the movie have undergone through.

One of my favorite movies that I have already seen is the movie entitled, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”. The main characters of the movie are P’Shone (Mario Maurer) and P’Nam (Pimchanok Lerwisetpibol ). This is a Thai movie and I really do love the story...

P’Nam was madly in love with a cute guy named P’Shone and her friends were only the ones who knew about her secret admiration of P’Shone. She liked him even before. She even made some excuses just to see the handsome face of the guy. She and her circle of friends were not that known in school since they were really that ordinary and simple fellas and the best thing I really love about the movie is that P’Shone liked P’Nam as much as she like him. They unknowingly love each other and it really sounds cute.

My best scene in the movie was when P’Nam confessed her feelings for P’Shone during their Hearts’ Day. She was totally heartbroken when she misunderstood that P’Shone’s best friend has a crush in her too. She even cried in the pool not knowing what to do at that time. I also love the scene when P’Shone confessed her feelings for P’Nam. I never expected that he liked her that much that he intentionally give her a scrapbook he made that filled with stolen pictures of her that he captured. He gave the scrapbook to her the night before the day P’Nam will be leaving to States to study college. Unluckily, P’Nam wasn’t able to see it. And then they met after several years and each of them were already successful, P’Shone being a photographer and P’Nam being a big time model. The sweetest part was that they were able to wait for each other amidst the distance and the long time they haven’t seen each other. True love truly waits.
